Well, I am continuing to get ready for my trip to China. I have been studying up on some basic phrases in Mandarin and have been getting some private tutoring to improve my language skills. I am being realistic. I don’t expect to be fluent in time but I am hoping to be able to reasonably independent.
I have been using Chinese flashcards and a Chinese phrasebooks to help me along.
